Type a version string using the format indicated by the placeholder text below. Copy/paste the intended guide version from the "Existing Guides" table above (if it exists) into the field below. Recommendations

DynDOLOD is a set of tools to automatically create a Skyrim mod based on the load order which generates tree and static LOD. It also generates optional dynamic LOD. It comes with 1000s of new LOD meshes. It requires the following:

  1. Install Skyrim_Script_Extender
  2. Install PapyrusUtil
  3. Install TES5Edit xEdit svn 1921 or higher
  4. Install Tree LOD billboards for Skyrim and any tree mod that is used
  5. From the DynDOLOD archive copy the content of the 'Data' folder which contains DynDOLOD.esp and the folder 'meshes', 'textures', 'scripts' and 'skse' into Skyrims 'Data' folder. Overwrite any files.
  6. From the DynDOLOD archive copy the content of the 'TES5Edit' folder which contains the file DynDOLOD Worlds.pas and the sub folder 'DynDOLOD' with all its content into 'TES5Edit\Edit Scripts' folder.
  7. Put DynDOLOD.esp last in the load order
  8. Start TES5Edit
  9. Wait for the message 'Background Loader: finished'
  10. Right click in the left pane on a mod and select 'Apply Script'
  11. Select the DynDOLOD Worlds.pas script from the drop down and click OK to execute
  12. wait for options window Wizard.png
  13. Select a world
  14. Select an output path
  15. Start generating tree and object LOD by clicking on either 'Low', 'Medium' or 'High' button
  16. After generation completed, close TES5Edit and let it save the updated DynDOLOD.esp
  17. Copy/move generated files from output path to Skyrim 'Data' directory
  18. Start a new game or load a save game and enter the worldspace. Wait for onscreen message top left and/or check MCM menu
