[IMAGEBASEDLIGHTING][edit | edit source]

This section will effect the Imagebased Lighting (IBL), both the vanilla IBL values and added IBL as well. The additive parameters will add IBL to the in game scene, while the multiplicative parameters will multiply the vanilla IBL.

Correction-> The game itself does not have any kind of IBL effect, just plain Directional Ambient lighting. --JawZ (talk) 17:11, January 8, 2016 (EST)
Addition-> This setting is affected by the Sky gradient, Clouds and Sun intensities. IBL will be altered if any of those are changed, that is either increased or decreased in intensity. The color filters of those effects also alters the color of the IBL effect. --JawZ (talk) 17:11, January 8, 2016 (EST)
Addition-> This effect has no active function in interiors. --JawZ (talk) 18:08, January 8, 2016 (EST)

IgnoreWeatherSystem=(false, true)

AdditiveAmount[edit | edit source]

These parameters will add in more IBL to the scene. These have a much stronger effect than the multiplicative parameters below. Adding too much IBL will wash out the scene.

Addition -> The effect is similar to having the scene be covered in powder. Should be used subtly to give an effect of diffuse light from the sky (e.g. after the sun has set, but the sky is still light), especially for weathers like overcast, fog, or snow where direct light wouldn't make sense. -TheConfidenceMan (talk) 17:45, November 14, 2014 (EST)

MultiplicativeAmount[edit | edit source]

These parameters will multiply the vanilla IBL values and more subtle than the above parameters. These are calculated from the in game weather ambient color.

ReflectiveAmount[edit | edit source]

These parameters add in IBL reflections to the scene.

Addition -> Adds reflected sky color to surfaces with specular highlights. Most noticeable on things like metallic armors or wet rocks. The effect can look very realistic, but too much can make skin and other objects look strange. -TheConfidenceMan (talk) 17:49, November 14, 2014 (EST)
