Always rerun the following FNIS Patcher if mods are added/removed that contain animations of any kind.
The Nemesis Engine will patch your load order for animations.

1.In MO2, right-click on the last activated mod and select {{ui|All Mods}} and {{ui|Create empty mod}}.
2.Name the empty mod {{Fc|#e6b69e|FNIS Output}} and {{Fc|#e6b69e|activate it}}.
3.Click {{ui|Configure the executables that can be started through Mod Organizer}} (icon with two gears).
4.Enter {{Fc|#e6b69e|FNIS Patcher}} in the title field and locate the {{Fc|#e6b69e|GenerateFNISforUsers.exe}} for the Binary field.
5.Check the {{ui|Create Files in Mod instead of}} and select the {{Fc|#e6b69e|FNIS Output}} mod you just created and click {{ui|Add}}.

Now that you have the executable and the empty mod setup, run FNIS:

3.Click {{ui|Update FNIS Behavior}}. Once the the patcher is done, click {{ui|Consistence Check}} to make sure there are no problems.

QUASIPC - Qwinn's Unified Automated Self Installing Patch Compendium[edit | edit source]

  • By: Qwinn
  • Version: 2.5.0

MISC FILE: QUASIPC - Unified Patch Compendium v2_5_0

Install: Allow the FOMOD to make the selections; simply continue through the [Next] and [Install] buttons.

Merged Patches[edit | edit source]

  • TOOL
Merge: Merge tagged files with zEdit. Move the Merged mod to the bottom of this Step, activate it, and disable the plugins via MO2's Merge Plugins Hide function.

Part B: Dynamic Patches[edit | edit source]

LOOT[edit | edit source]

  • TOOL

Run LOOT one final time before creating the patches below. This time will require a few additional steps to ensure mods are where they need to be to work properly (and be patched easier). Launch LOOT in MO2 and adjust the Metadata as follows:

1. Find SkyRem - Grace.esp in the right pane and click the [...] to the right and select [Edit Metadata].
2. In the window that appears, click [Load After] and under Filename enter Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp. Click [Save] (disk icon) to the right.

Adjusting Metadata with LOOT in this way can help keep mods in the right place any time you use LOOT. Using Load After is good especially to ensure a specific mod loads after another specific mod, while using the mod groups (such as High Priority Overrides) is good for keeping mods in a more generalized location of your Load Order.

Once you are done making adjustments to Metadata, [Sort] as normal, [Apply], and [Exit] LOOT.

LOD8: Quality 10, Build Diffuse Size 256, Build Normal Size 128, Format BC7 Quick, Set Optimize Unseen to On (leave other settings at default).
LOD16: Quality 10, Build Diffuse Size 256, Build Normal Size 128, Format BC7 Quick, Set Optimize Unseen to On (leave other settings at default).

7. When you receive the LOD Generator: finished, close xLODGen.
8. Setting the arguments field as detailed in First Steps will place the files directly into the xLODGen Output mod. Refresh MO2 and find it at the bottom of the left pane. Activate it now.

If using Paper World Map (II-02-A), you will need to hide a couple files generated by this xLODGen for the map to appear as intended. You can do this quickly and easily through MO2's interface:

1. [Double-click] the xLODGen Output, and go to the [Conflicts] tab.
2. With the [General] (not Advanced) tab selected, click [Overwritten Mods] to sort the list in the top window.
3. This should bring two files to the top listing Paper World Map as being overwritten.

5. In the upper right: Click [Medium] and check both [Candles] and [FXGlow].
6. In the bottom box: Check all options EXCEPT [Use original LOD assignments] and [Upgrade NearGrid Large Refs].
7. Still in the bottom box: Change [Max tile size] to 256 (to match TexGen).
8. Click [OK].
9. When done, [Exit] DynDOLOD and refresh MO2 to see that your DynDOLOD Output mod is complete. Activate it now. Move the ESM file to the top of your load order.

STARTUP[edit | edit source]

Part A: Starting New Game[edit | edit source]

It is time. Start a new game and create your character (Race, Gender, and Appearance). Once done, it will take a few minutes for all of the mods to register and the game to setup.

Monitor the notifications on the left to make sure nothing unusual happens (something not found, something did not load properly, errors, etc.)
Simply hit [OK] for the first several (6-7) messages that pop-up. You can tell Curator's Companion to scan [later]. I also recommend using the [later] option for Attributes.
Now on to the MCMs.
